The Cupnoodles Museum is a creative museum of Nissin Foods. There are 11 attractions in the facility, including athletic facilities and exhibits that allow visitors to experience the Cup Noodle production process. You can make your own original cup noodle and choose the ingredients and soup from the package design. Since the port was a foreign settlement, the city of Yokohama has been involved in the preservation of Western architecture. Bluff 18 was the residence of Mr. Bowden, an Australian trader. The two-story wooden structure retains the features of a Western-style house, including a French tile roof, fireplace chimney, raised windows and armored doors, and a balcony and sunroom on the south side.

Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street

横浜元町ショッピングストリート

Sights Information

Yokohama Hammerhead

This complex opened in Yokohama Minato Mirai in 2019. It is a cruise ship terminal, a commercial facility, and a hotel all in one, and is surrounded by the sea on three sides, making it an open location.

Yokohama Cosmo World

The Ferris wheel at Cosmo World, which has become a symbol of Yokohama's scenery, is very glitteringly illuminated at night. There is a powerful roller coaster and other attractions that even small children can enjoy.

Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum

The Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum, located about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Yokohama Station, is a must-visit spot for ramen lovers. Inside the museum, in addition to ramen stores, there is also a dagashiya(Japanese candy shop). The museum recreates the streets of the Showa period, making you feel like you have stepped back in time.

Hakkeijima Sea Paradise

Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is a marine leisure complex that includes an aquarium, amusement park, shopping mall, restaurants, hotel, and marina. With an aquarium where you can interact with sea creatures and a roller coaster that juts out into the ocean, this is a spot where you can have fun all day long.

Sankeien

Opened in 1906, this is a traditional Japanese garden. Visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers such as plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, irises, and lotuses along with the Japanese garden. Events such as moon viewing and autumn foliage viewing are held throughout the year.

Motomachi Park

Located in the Yamanote area of Yokohama, next to the Foreign General Cemetery, this park is rich in greenery. Visitors can enjoy the changing expressions of the park throughout the year. The park also has Western-style architecture, which can be visited free of charge.
