National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall

中正紀念堂

The Memorial Hall of the Emperor of China is a memorial to Chiang Kai-shek, the first president of the Republic of China. The highlight of the tour is the hourly changing of the guard ceremony, where the guards stand erect and motionless for an hour, performing their duties in perfect step.

Jishan street

基山街

Jishan Street is the main street of Jiufen, a bustling, narrow street lined with many souvenir shops and restaurants. Filled with tourists on weekends, it used to be a gold exchange when the gold mines were flourishing. Many delicious stores with sweets and snacks are available here, so you can't help but stop by.

Daxi Tea Factory, popularly known as the Too Beautiful Tea Factory, began as a tea factory during the Japanese colonial period. Sights Information

Dihua Street

This street, where stores are said to have begun to be established through trade during the Qing Dynasty, is lined with long-established shops selling dried foods, high-grade foodstuffs such as calamari, Chinese herbs, tea, and other products. There is also a local cloth market, where you can feel the local bustle of Taipei.

Sifen

For those who want to spend a relaxing time while enjoying the exotic atmosphere, Sifen is the place to go. One thing you can't miss here is lanterns. Write your wishes on a large lantern and send it into the sky.

Danshui

Danshui, located north of Taipei, is a waterside town where you can feel the mountains and rivers. It is a city where you can feel the bustle of Taipei and the relaxed atmosphere of the countryside. Visitors can rent bicycles to explore the historical architecture.
