Godzilla interception operation

After watching an original story created especially for this attraction in the pre-theater, visitors can enter Godzilla's body through his mouth on a zip line! The giant athletic facility has four courses of different difficulty levels, so children and adults alike can enjoy a wide range of activities. 本福寺 水御堂
It is a Shingon Buddhist temple dating from the late Heian period. The reconstructed building is a modern concrete structure designed by architect Tadao Ando. The pond fountain, which is both roof and ground, is a large lotus pond that is brightly colored during the lotus season in June.

The Kojiki, which describes the beginning of the nation of Japan, states that Awaji Island was first created. The Izanagi Jingu Shrine is the oldest shrine in Japan, where Izanagi and Izanami, the gods who created Awaji Island, are enshrined. The giant torii gate, the dignified and stately hall of worship, the sacred pond, and the 900-year-old camphor tree are all surrounded by a sacred atmosphere.

Ruins of Red Brick Factory
赤レンガ工場跡
During the Meiji and Taisho periods, the Sumoto area was built one after another with the spinning factories of Kanebo, contributing to the modernization of Japan. The red brick exterior of the building is used as a select store featuring Awaji's local products, a restaurant, and as an event space.

Sumoto Castle
三熊山・洲本城跡
Sumoto Castle was the base of this area from the Warring States Period to the Edo Period. Particularly distinctive are the climbing stone walls that lead from the foot of the mountain to the slopes of the summit, which are valuable, rare, and well-preserved, and are worth seeing.

Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum
竹中大工道具館
Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum is the only museum in Japan specializing in carpentry tools. Exhibits include a planer, chisels, and saws, and show how "woodworking" works without the use of nails. Visitors can learn by actually touching them. There is also a full-scale model of the pillars and braid of the Golden Hall of Toshodaiji Temple and a structural model of a tea ceremony room, which will surely make future visits to shrines and temples even more enjoyable!

Nankinmachi, located in Kobe's Chuo Ward, is one of the three major Chinatowns in Japan, along with Yokohama and Nagasaki, and is lined with nearly 100 stores.
