Kushiro is a Japanese city in Kushiro Sub prefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. It is the capital city of Kushiro Sub prefecture, as well as the most populous city in eastern Hokkaido.

Shiretoko Peninsula, Hokkaido

Shiretoko Peninsula is located on the easternmost portion of the Japanese island of Hokkaidō, protruding into the Sea of Okhotsk. The name Shiretoko is derived from the Ainu word sir etok, meaning "the end of the Earth" or "the place where the Earth protrudes". The towns of Rausu and Shari are found on the peninsula.
The Shiretoko Peninsula was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, in recognition of the peninsula being the southernmost point where sea ice usually forms in the Northern Hemisphere.

Korsakov, Sakhalin Russia

Korsakov is a town and the administrative center of Korsakovsky District of Sakhalin Oblast, Russia, located 42 kilometers (26 mi) south from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, at the southern end of Sakhalin Island, on the coast of the Salmon Cove in the Aniva Bay.

Otaru, Hokkaido

Otaru is a city and port in Shiribeshi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan, northwest of Sapporo. The city faces the Ishikari Bay, and has long served as the main port of the bay. Hakodate, Hokkaido

Hakodate is a city and port located in Oshima Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. It is the capital city of Oshima Sub prefecture. Hakodate was Japan's first city whose port was opened to foreign trade in 1854 as a result of Convention of Kanagawa, and used to be the most important port in northern Japan.

Aomori, Aomori

Aomori is the capital city of Aomori Prefecture, in the northern Tohoku region of northern Japan. As of September 2015, the city had an estimated population of 288,029 and a population density of 349 persons per km2. The total area of the city was 824.61 square kilometres (318.38 sq mi).

Yokohama, Kanagawa

Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan by population and most populous municipality of Japan. It is the capital city of Kanagawa Prefecture. It lies on Tokyo Bay, south of Tokyo, in the Kanto region of the main island of Honshu.
It is a major commercial hub of the Greater Tokyo Area.


Festival Information

Hakodate Port Festival

Hakodate Port Festival is the largest summer event in Hakodate. There is a fireworks display at the port on the first day. Wasshoi Hakodate is parades, which involve over 20,000 peoples.
In the parades, some women dressed in kimono dance traditional Hakodate Port Dance, some perform passionate YOSAKOI dance, and Hakodate's specialty. Squid Dance is so easy that the spectators can join the parade and dance it together.

Aomori Nebuta Festival, Aomori

The Aomori Nebuta Matsuri is a Japanese summer festival that takes place in Aomori, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. The festival attracts the most tourists of any of the country's nebuta festivals, and is counted among the three largest festivals in the Tohoku region.
"Nebuta" refers to the float of a brave warrior-figure which is carried through the center of the city, while dancers wearing a unique type of costume called Haneto dance around in time with the chant Rasserā.
